DEPARTMENT OF INSTRUMENTATION TECHNOLOGY

Course 1: Emerging trends in design and development of embedded system:

The recent trends of science and technology involve the design and development of electronic products by using embedded processors. Among variety of embedded processors like microcontrollers, DSP etc., currently 8051 microcontrollers operating in the range from 1MHz to 100MHz are highly popular in embedded system field. Hence the main objective of this training is to introduce the participants to 8051 architecture and programming in both assembly language and C.

Course 2: Advanced Biomedical Instrumentation Equipment Maintenance Training

The design and maintain of a Biomedical Instruments is a critical issue and one should have very good hands on experience. Though the current studies of Engineering/ Diploma have basic courses on Biomedical instrumentation, they are lacking the knowledge of the latest Biomedical technologies. Hence, this course will help to fill this gap and make the participants to gain sufficient knowledge about the latest technologies on design and development of Biomedical Instrumentation.
